New Website

This is the new Puddin’head Press website. We plan and doing some big things.

Increased Website Security

We are transitioning from our old to a new more secure website. Soon puddinheadpress.com will forward to puddinheadpress.net. Therefore both the .com and the .net will be working websites. BUT the “buy” links to Paypal will be more secure. The general security of the website has been increased.

Book Listings

As of May 15, 2019 we have only listed the Puddin’head Press books. We will then list some new titles we have received. There will also be a concentration of listing books by The Fractal Edge Press. The Puddin’head Press and The Fractal Edge Press have worked together for many years and we are giving them a priority.

We do not currently have full descriptions, reviews, blurbs, table of contents, and other information posted on our website. These will be added soon.

Our goal is still to be a one stop shop for Chicago poetry. We have worked with other authors and currently have about one hundred books in our catalog. Redoing our book inventory and this is also one of our priorities. Please have patience with us if we are selling your books.

Facebook and Facebook pages

We will continue to work with our Facebook pages including: Chicago Poetry Book Review and History of Chicago Poetry.

Poetry Resources on Website

Take a look at our Poetry Resources center. We have also added an easy link to sign up for our Constant Contact Poetry Newsletter. We are debating whether to include a Chicago Poetry Biography section.

Work. Work. And more work.

We are working on it. There are other internal business adjustments we are making and other internal website parts that are not visible that we are working on. Our goal is to make a better website experience and a higher visibility for the authors we work with. Poetry is an art. Publishing is a business. The behind the scene nuts and bolts are what has made us a successful company. The Puddin’head Press is a child of the 20th century. We are installing new 21st century nuts and bolts.
